Added October 15th, 2011 Click Here for a live example of an Ajax "PUSH" program implemented via RPG. The "BiddingCircus" is a fictional penny auction company. From this screen, you can enter your name, click LOGIN, and then bid on any of the items on the screen. The web screen is interacting with an RPGIV CGI program which "pushes" updates back to the browser as they occur. The system also utilizes "computerbots" which will bid against you and themselves. As bids come in, the RPG program pushes the updates back out to all of the browsers which are connected to the server. (I will update another page to show the code which performs this function at a later date when I get more time.)
